Mini-me smartens up his act

Dr Evil’s clone will get a good dose of the smarts next week when he arrives in Sydney for a top-secret promotion.

Actor Verne Troyer, who played the character of mini-me in the movie “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me”, will turn up to a major product promotion in Sydney driving the equally mini smart fortwo.

At just 2.5-metres in length, the smart fortwo is one of the shortest cars on sale in Australia and was recently hailed Australia’s most environmentally friendly car by the Australian Government.

“Whilst in Sydney, Verne needed a suitable car linking in with a promotion and the smart fortwo was the ideal choice,” said Sam Tabart, senior manager responsible for smart.

“We were happy to assist, but cannot disclose any more. Secret spy business,” said Tabart.

Selected Mercedes-Benz dealers sell the range of smart cars, starting from $19,900
